Prepare the Bacon
Preheat your smoker or oven to 225°F (107°C). Cut the thick-cut bacon into 1-inch pieces.

Season the Bacon
In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss the bacon pieces in the mixture until evenly coated.

Smoke the Bacon
Place the bacon pieces in a smoker or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Smoke or bake for about 2 hours, or until the bacon is crispy.

Add Sweet Chili Sauce
Remove the bacon from the heat and toss it in a bowl with the sweet chili sauce until well coated.
