Deviled Eggs Ingredients

Method

Deviled Eggs Directions

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pan and remove it from heat. Let the eggs sit for 12 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cool and Peel

Transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool for about 5 minutes. Once cooled, gently tap the eggs on a hard surface and peel the shells off.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Filling

Cut the peeled eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork and add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.

  4. 4

    Fill the Egg Whites

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.

  5. 5

    Garnish

Sprinkle paprika on top and garnish with chopped chives or parsley.
