Rittenhouse Rye Bonded Recipe

Preparation

   Gather Ingredients

   Collect all the ingredients and tools you will need: mixing glass, bar spoon, jigger, strainer, and a chilled cocktail glass.

   Measure and Pour

   Using the jigger, measure 2 oz of Rittenhouse Rye Whiskey and pour it into the mixing glass. Next, measure 1 oz of Sweet Vermouth and add it to the mixing glass.

   Add Bitters

   Add 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters to the mixture in the mixing glass.

   Stir the Mixture

   Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture gently with a bar spoon for about 30 seconds, until well chilled.

   Strain Into Glass

   Using a strainer, pour the chilled mixture into a pre-chilled cocktail glass.

   Garnish

   Garnish your drink with a maraschino cherry and an orange peel slice. Express the oils of the orange peel over the drink by twisting it before placing it in the glass.
