Chill the Glass
Place the cocktail glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while you prepare the drink.

Prepare the Mixing Glass
In a mixing glass, add ice cubes to fill it halfway.

Combine Ingredients
Pour 2 oz of Jack Daniel's Rye Whiskey and 1 oz of Sweet Vermouth into the mixing glass with ice.

Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of Angostura Bitters to the mixing glass.

Stir
Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

Strain and Serve
Remove the cocktail glass from the freezer or discard the ice water. Strain the mixture from the mixing glass into the chilled cocktail glass.
