Take an old-fashioned glass and place it in the freezer to chill while you prepare the drink.

In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Bulleit Bourbon, 0.5 oz of simple syrup, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.

Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes (about 4 pieces) to chill the mixture.
