Method
Pasta Preparation
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Chicken Preparation
- 2
Grill the Chicken
While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Place the chicken in the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and no longer pink in the center. Remove from heat and let rest before slicing.
Alfredo Sauce Preparation
- 3
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet used for the chicken, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
Combine and Serve
- 4
Combine All Components
Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat evenly. Slice the grilled chicken and place it on top of the pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
