Ribs and Fries

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Rub this spice mixture all over the ribs.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another sheet of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  4. 4

    Prepare the BBQ Sauce

In the last 30 minutes of cooking, remove the top foil from the ribs and brush them generously with BBQ sauce. Return to the oven uncovered to caramelize the sauce.

  5. 5

    Cook the French Fries

While the ribs are finishing, heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the French fries and cook until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels and season with salt to taste.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the ribs are done, let them rest for a few minutes before cutting. Serve the ribs hot with the French fries on the side.
