Chocolate Mousse
1. Prepare Gelatin
In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin powder over water and let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
2. Melt Chocolate
In a heatproof bowl, melt dark chocolate over a double boiler or microwave until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
3. Whip Cream
In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream with sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
4. Combine Mixtures
Gently fold the whipped cream into the melted chocolate until fully combined. Stir in the bloomed gelatin.
5. Chill
Transfer the mousse into serving molds and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
