Prepare the Glass
If desired, rim the glass with salt or sugar. To do this, rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and then dip it into a plate of salt or sugar.

In a shaker, combine the call liquor, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake well for about 15 seconds.
