Chipotle Almond Dip Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Soak the Almonds

Place the raw almonds in a bowl and cover them with water. Let them soak for at least 4 hours or overnight to soften.

  2. 2

    Blend the Ingredients

Drain the soaked almonds and place them in a food processor. Add chipotle peppers, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and water. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as necessary.

  3. 3

    Adjust Consistency and Flavor

If the dip is too thick, add more water a tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

  4. 4

    Chill and Serve

Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. Serve with house-made chips.
