Method

Crust Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crust

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Form the Crust

Press the crumb mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, making sure to pack it down firmly. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool.

Filling Preparation

  1. 3

    Mix the Filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the sour cream, and mix until well combined.

  2. 4

    Add Eggs

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing until each is fully incorporated before adding the next egg.

  3. 5

    Combine Other Ingredients

Stir in the chopped oysters, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper until everything is evenly mixed.

Baking the Cheesecake

  1. 6

    Combine Crust and Filling

Pour the oyster filling over the cooled crust in the springform pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

  2. 7

    Bake the Cheesecake

Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set and slightly jiggles when shaken. Remove from the oven and let it cool at room temperature.

  3. 8

    Chill and Serve

Once cooled, refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving. Slice and enjoy!
