Green Beans

Method

Grilled Chicken

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well. Add chicken breasts to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  3. 3

    Grill the Chicken

Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on the preheated grill. Grill each side for 6-7 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

  4. 4

    Rest the Chicken

Once grilled, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into chunks. Place them in a large pot, cover with water, and add a pinch of salt.

  2. 6

    Boil the Potatoes

Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to a simmer. Cook the potatoes for about 15-20 minutes or until tender.

  3. 7

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Green Beans

  1. 8

    Prepare the Green Beans

Rinse the green beans and trim the ends.

  2. 9

    Sauté the Green Beans

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the green beans, salt, and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the beans are tender-crisp.
