Method

Prepare the French Toast Batter

  1. 1

    Whisk Eggs

In a large bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together until well beaten.

  2. 2

    Add Milk and Flavorings

Add the milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt to the eggs. Whisk until combined.

Prepare the Corn Flake Coating

  1. 3

    Crush Corn Flakes

Place the corn flakes in a ziplock bag and crush them into coarse crumbs using a rolling pin or your hands.

  2. 4

    Mix with Sugar and Salt

In a shallow dish, combine the crushed corn flakes, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.

Cook the French Toast

    Heat Pan

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until sizzling but not browned.

  2. 6

    Dip Bread in Batter

Dunk each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for about 10 seconds on each side.

  3. 7

    Coat with Corn Flakes

After soaking, take the soaked bread slices and press them into the corn flake mixture to coat both sides.

  4. 8

    Cook French Toast
