Meatball Ingredients

Method

Meatball Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for baking the meatballs.

  2. 2

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix the ingredients thoroughly using your hands or a spoon until everything is well combined.

  3. 3

    Shape the Meatballs

Using your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the formed meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. 4

    Cook the Meatballs

Drizzle olive oil over the meatballs and transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and browned on the outside.

  5. 5

    Heat the Marinara Sauce

While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat until simmering.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the oven and add them to the heated marinara sauce. Let them simmer together for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your meatballs over pasta or in a sub sandwich!
