Method

Crust Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the crust

In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the crust

Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Use the back of a measuring cup to ensure it is evenly packed.

  3. 3

    Bake the crust

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool.

Filling Preparation

  1. 4

    Mix cream cheese and sugar

In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until fully incorporated.

  2. 5

    Add peanut butter and vanilla

Add the peanut butter and vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture. Beat until smooth and creamy.

  3. 6

    Whip heavy cream

In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

  4. 7

    Combine mixtures

Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until fully combined.

  5. 8

    Add melted chocolate

Fold in the melted chocolate chips until the mixture is smooth and evenly colored.

  6. 9

    Fill the crust

Pour the filling into the cooled crust and smooth the top with a spatula.

Chilling and Topping

  1. 10

    Chill the cheesecake

Cover the cheesecake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.

  2. 11

    Add toppings (optional)

Before serving, if using, sprinkle crumbled bacon, chocolate shavings, and chopped peanuts on top of the cheesecake.

  3. 12

    Serve

Remove the sides of the springform pan and slice the cheesecake. Serve chilled and enjoy!
