Method

Brownie Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

  2. 2

    Melt Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

  3. 3

    Mix Sugars

Add both granulated sugar and brown sugar to the melted butter. Stir until well combined.

  4. 4

    Incorporate Eggs and Vanilla

Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

  5. 5

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

  6. 6

    Combine Mixtures

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.

  7. 7

    Add Chocolate Chips

Fold in the semi-sweet and white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

  8. 8

    Bake

Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  9. 9

    Cool and Cut

Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before cutting them into squares.

Serving

  1. 10

    Serve with Ice Cream

Place a brownie square on a plate, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, and drizzle with chocolate sauce.

  2. 11

    Add Toppings

Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings as desired. Serve immediately.
