Prepare the Tortillas
Cut each corn tortilla into triangle-shaped pieces.

Heat the Oil
In a large frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot (about 350°F or 175°C).

Fry the Chips
Carefully add a few tortilla triangles at a time to the hot oil. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Drain the Chips
Remove chips with a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Season with salt while they are still hot.

Mix the Salsa
In a mixing bowl, combine chopped tomatoes, onion, cilantro, and jalapeño. Add lime juice and salt to taste.

Chill the Salsa
Let the salsa sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
