Waffle Preparation

Prepare the Waffle Batter
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed, and then gently fold in the pearl sugar.

Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Lightly grease the waffle iron with cooking spray or butter. Pour the appropriate amount of batter into the preheated waffle iron and close the lid. Cook until golden brown, following the manufacturer's timing instructions.

Serve warm with a generous dollop of whipped cream, a drizzle of Vermont maple syrup, a spoonful of spruce jelly, fresh raspberries, and a sprinkle of crushed hazelnuts on top.
