Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash the fresh tomatoes under cold water. Remove the stems and cut them into quarters or slices, depending on your preference. Place the cut tomatoes in a bowl.

  2. 2

    Season the Tomatoes

Drizzle the olive oil over the cut tomatoes. Add a pinch of sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Gently toss the tomatoes to ensure they are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Cheese

Remove the burrata and stracciatella cheese from their packaging and gently pat them dry with a paper towel. Tear or cut the burrata into pieces and place them on a serving plate.

  4. 4

    Combine the Ingredients

Spoon the stracciatella cheese over the torn burrata. Arrange the seasoned tomatoes around the cheese on the serving plate.

  5. 5

    Finish with Fresh Basil

Tear the fresh basil leaves and sprinkle them over the burrata and tomatoes. This adds a fragrant touch to the dish.

  6. 6

    Final Drizzle

Drizzle a little more extra virgin olive oil over the entire plate to enhance the flavors.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Serve the burrata, stracciatella, and tomato salad immediately, garnished with additional basil if desired. This dish is best enjoyed fresh.
