Layer the Nachos
In a large oven-safe skillet, spread a layer of refried beans at the bottom. Add a layer of the fried tortilla chips on top of the beans. Then, layer the shredded chicken or beef followed by a generous amount of queso, jack cheese, and cheddar cheese.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the skillet in the oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove the skillet from the oven carefully. Top the nachos with sliced jalapeños, dollops of guacamole, salsa fresca, and sour cream.
