Wings and Marinade

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Marinate the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, jerk seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to ensure the wings are evenly coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

  2. 2

    Deep Fry the Wings

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the marinated chicken wings in batches and fry for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Grill the Wings

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Once the wings are fried, place them on the grill for about 3-5 minutes per side, or until nicely charred. This step adds a smoky flavor and enhances the jerk seasoning.

  4. 4

    Serve

Remove the wings from the grill and serve hot. Optionally, you can serve with a side of dipping sauce or fresh vegetables.
