Carne Asada Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Rest and Slice

Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice the steak against the grain into thin strips.

  4. 4

    Serve

Top the sliced steak with hacienda sauce and salsa fresca. Serve immediately.
