Method
Preparation
- 1
Chill and prepare glass
Place the highball or pint glass in the freezer for 5β10 minutes or fill it with ice and cold water while preparing ingredients to get the glass chilled. If you prefer not to chill the glass, simply proceed with a glass full of fresh ice.
- 2
Prepare garnishes
If using fresh fruit, lightly muddle 2 pieces (e.g., 2 raspberries or a slice of mango) in the bottom of the glass to release a bit of flavor, or thread a lime wedge and/or a fruit piece on a cocktail pick for garnish.
Assembly
- 3
- 4
Pour 1/2 oz fresh lime juice over the ice (optional). This adds brightness and balances sweetness in some flavors.
- 5
- 6
Give the drink a very gentle stir once with a bar spoon to incorporate lime and any muddled fruit without flattening the seltzer.
- 7
Garnish with a lime wedge or fruit on a cocktail pick. Serve immediately while cold and fizzy.
Notes & Variations

Serving tip
No-ice option: for maximum fizz and truer canned flavor, serve White Claw straight from the can into a chilled glass without ice. Add lime wedge for aroma only.
- 9
Flavor pairing: match fruit garnish to the White Claw flavor (e.g., raspberries for black cherry variety, lime for lime flavor) to enhance perceived aroma and taste.
