Preparation
- 1
Chill the Champagne
Place the bottle of champagne in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours before serving to ensure it is nicely chilled.
- 2
Juicing Oranges
If using fresh oranges, cut them in half and use a citrus juicer to extract juice. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp if desired.
- 3
Mixing the Mimosa
In a champagne flute, pour 1 part fresh orange juice and then slowly add 2 parts champagne. The typical ratio is 1:2, but you can adjust to taste.
- 4
Garnishing
Garnish each glass with a slice of orange on the rim for an elegant touch.
