Method
Preparation of Wings
- 1
Clean and Dry the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Apply the Dry Rub
In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the Creole BBQ Dry Rub. Coat the chicken wings evenly with the dry rub mixture and allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes, preferably in the refrigerator.
Cooking the Wings
- 3
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 4
Arrange the Wings
Place the marinated chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easier cleanup.
- 5
Add Beer
Pour the lager beer over the chicken wings evenly.
- 6
Bake the Wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, or until they are crispy and golden brown, turning them halfway through the cooking time.
Serving
- 7
Prepare the Dipping Sauces
While the wings are baking, prepare the dipping sauces by placing ranch dressing and bleu cheese dressing in separate bowls.
- 8
Serve
Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven, let them sit for a few minutes, and serve hot with the ranch and bleu cheese dressings on the side.
