Beef Tacos

Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook 1 pound of ground beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.

Add Seasoning
Stir in 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning and 0.5 cups of water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes until thickened.

Prepare Taco Shells
While the beef is cooking, warm the taco shells in the oven according to package instructions.

Assemble Tacos
Fill each taco shell with the beef mixture, then top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and sour cream.
Chicken Tacos

Cook the Chicken
In a skillet over medium heat, cook 1 pound of diced chicken breast until no longer pink.

Stir in 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning and 0.5 cups of water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes until thickened.

While the chicken is cooking, warm the taco shells in the oven according to package instructions.

Fill each taco shell with the chicken mixture, then top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and sour cream.

Prepare the Filling
In a skillet over medium heat, combine 1 can of black beans (drained and rinsed), 1 cup of corn, 2 tablespoons of taco seasoning, and 0.5 cups of water. Cook until heated through.

While the filling is cooking, warm the taco shells in the oven according to package instructions.

Fill each taco shell with the bean and corn mixture, then top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and sour cream.
