Preparing the Quesadilla

Heat the Pan
Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and let it preheat for about 2 minutes.

Butter the Tortilla
Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter on one side of each flour tortilla.

Add Cheese
Place one tortilla, buttered side down, in the skillet. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the tortilla.

Top with Second Tortilla
Place the second tortilla on top of the cheese, buttered side up.

Cook the Quesadilla
Cook for about 3-4 minutes or until the bottom tortilla is golden brown. Carefully flip the quesadilla using a spatula.

Finish Cooking
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side, until it is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Remove and Slice
Remove the quesadilla from the skillet and let it cool for a minute. Cut into wedges.

Prepare Apple Sauce
In a small bowl, serve the apple sauce as a side for dipping.

Place yogurt in a serving bowl for an additional creamy side.
