Mimosa Ingredients

Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Juicing Blood Oranges

Slice the blood oranges in half and use a juicer to extract the juice. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp for a smooth texture.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Glasses

Chill your champagne flutes or glasses in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes before serving to keep the mimosa cool.

  3. 3

    Mixing the Mimosa

In each chilled glass, pour 1 part blood orange juice and 2 parts champagne. For example, if using 1/4 cup of juice, add 1/2 cup of champagne.

  4. 4

    Garnishing

Garnish each mimosa with a slice of blood orange on the rim of the glass. If desired, sprinkle a little sugar on top of the juice before adding the champagne for added sweetness.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately while the drink is bubbly. Enjoy your refreshing blood orange mimosa!
