Ingredients
Beef Protein Shake Base
Flavor & Texture (optional)
Optional Add‑Ins (for calories, fiber, creaminess)
Beef Protein Shake Base
1. Measure 2 scoops of grass‑fed beef isolate powder and place into a blender or a large protein shaker bottle.
2. Add 12 oz cold water and 1 cup unsweetened almond milk to the blender/shaker to create the liquid base. If using a shaker bottle, add the liquid first, then the powder to reduce clumping.
3. Add 4 ice cubes to the blender for a chilled, thick texture. If using a shaker bottle and you want it cold, pre‑chill the liquid or use finely crushed ice.
4. Blend on high for 20–40 seconds (or shake vigorously for 30–45 seconds) until the powder is fully dissolved and the shake is smooth and uniform.
Flavor & Texture (optional)
5. If you want a chocolate or mocha note, add 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder (sift if clumpy) and 1 teaspoon instant coffee dissolved in 1 tablespoon hot water. Add these with the powder before blending.
6. Sweeten to taste with 1 teaspoon raw honey or maple syrup. Add 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract and a pinch (1/8 tsp) of sea salt to enhance flavor. Add 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon if desired.
7. Blend again for 10–15 seconds to fully incorporate flavorings. Taste and adjust sweetness or salt as needed.
Optional Add‑Ins (for calories, fiber, creaminess)
8. For a creamier, more calorie‑dense shake, add 1 tablespoon nut butter and 1/2 frozen banana to the blender with the base liquids and powder.
9. To increase fiber and omega‑3s, add 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed or chia seeds and 2 tablespoons rolled oats. Blend on high for 20–30 seconds until smooth.
10. If texture becomes too thick after adding these items, thin with up to 1/4 cup additional water or almond milk and blend briefly to reach desired consistency.
Finish & Serve
11. Pour the finished shake into a tall glass. Optionally top with a light dusting of cocoa powder or a sprinkle of cinnamon.
12. Consume immediately for best texture and flavor. Shake or stir if separation occurs after sitting.
