Pancake Batter

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Batter

In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix; some lumps are okay. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.

  2. 2

    Heat the Pan

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease it with a little butter or cooking spray.

  3. 3

    Cook the Pancakes

Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Serve

Serve the pancakes warm, topped with sprinkles and additional chocolate chips if desired.
