Cooking Pasta

    Boil Water

    In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt to the water.

    Cook Pasta

    Add 12 cups of pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Preparing Vegetables

    Chop Vegetables

    While the pasta is cooking, chop the bell peppers, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, carrots, and broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

Making the Sauce

    Heat Olive Oil

    In a large skillet, heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.

    Sauté Garlic

    Add 3 teaspoons of minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

    Add Vegetables

    Add the chopped vegetables to the skillet and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.

    Season

    Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of black pepper to the vegetables, stirring well to combine.

Combining Ingredients

    Mix Pasta and Vegetables

    Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Mix well to combine all ingredients.

    Add Parmesan

    Sprinkle 0.5 cups of grated Parmesan cheese over the pasta and vegetables, tossing to coat evenly.

    Garnish and Serve

    Remove from heat, garnish with 0.25 cups of chopped fresh basil, and serve warm.
