Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Brussels Sprouts

Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water. Trim the ends and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise.

  2. 2

    Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together honey, chili flakes, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. 4

    Toss Brussels Sprouts

In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with the honey chili sauce. Toss well to ensure all sprouts are evenly coated.

  3. 5

    Roast Brussels Sprouts

Spread the coated Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until they are crispy and golden brown, turning halfway through for even cooking.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Once the Brussels sprouts are done, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm as a side dish or appetizer.
