Method

Mojito Directions

1

Prepare the Mint

In a sturdy glass, place the fresh mint leaves. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently crush the leaves. This releases the essential oils and flavor.

2

Add Lime Juice

Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice from both halves into the glass over the mint. You can also cut the lime into wedges and add them directly to the glass for extra flavor.

3

Add Sweetener

Pour the simple syrup into the glass. This will balance the tartness of the lime and enhance the overall flavor.

4

Add Rum

Pour 2 oz of white rum into the glass. This is the main spirit for the mojito, providing a smooth and refreshing base.

5

Mix and Add Ice

Use a spoon to stir the mixture gently to combine all the ingredients. Fill the glass with ice cubes, allowing them to float on top of the mixture.

6

Top with Club Soda

Pour club soda over the ice until the glass is full. This adds a refreshing fizz to the drink.

7

Garnish and Serve

Garnish your mojito with a lime wedge and a sprig of mint for an extra touch of freshness. Serve immediately with a straw.
