Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Sprinkle salt and black pepper evenly on both sides of the ribeye steaks.

  2. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a heavy skillet or cast-iron pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

  3. 3

    Sear the Steak

Place the ribeye steaks in the hot pan and sear them for about 4-5 minutes on one side until a golden-brown crust forms.

  4. 4

    Add Aromatics

Flip the steaks and add the garlic cloves, fresh rosemary, and butter to the pan.

  5. 5

    Baste the Steak

Using a spoon, baste the melted butter over the steaks while cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes for medium-rare doneness.

  6. 6

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.

Vegetable Preparation

  1. 7

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 8

    Prepare the Vegetables

Trim the asparagus and peel the carrots. Cut the carrots into sticks.

  3. 9

    Toss with Oil and Seasoning

In a bowl, toss the asparagus and carrot sticks with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  4. 10

    Roast the Vegetables

Spread the vegetables on a baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized.
