Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Glass
Start by rimming your glass with Tajin seasoning. To do this, rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and then dip it into a plate of Tajin to coat the rim evenly.
- 2
Muddle Jalapeño
Take one whole fresh jalapeño, remove the stem, and slice it in half. Place the halves in a cocktail shaker and muddle them gently to release the oils and flavors. Adjust the amount of muddling based on your spice preference.
Mixing the Drink
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In the cocktail shaker with the muddled jalapeño, add 2 oz of reposado tequila, 1 oz of Licor 43, 0.5 oz of organic agave syrup, and 1 oz of fresh lime juice.
- 4
Shake
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to chill and mix the ingredients well.
