Sangria Base

LUNArita

Method

Sangria Base Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the red wine, orange juice, brandy, and sugar. Stir well until the sugar is dissolved.

  2. 2

    Add Fruits

Slice the orange, lemon, and lime into thin rounds. Add the fruit slices and fresh berries to the pitcher. Let the mixture sit for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator to allow the flavors to meld.

  3. 3

    Add Soda Water

Just before serving, add the soda water to the sangria mixture and stir gently to combine.

LUNArita Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare Glass

Take a glass and rub a lime wedge around the rim. Dip the rim into salt to coat it lightly.

  2. 5

    Mix LUNArita

In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, lime juice, and agave syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until chilled.

  3. 6

    Combine and Serve

Strain the LUNArita mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. Top the glass with the prepared sangria base, allowing it to float on top. Garnish with extra fruit slices if desired.
