Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Glass

Begin by rimming your glass with salt. To do this, take a lime wedge and run it along the rim of the glass. Dip the rim of the glass into a plate of salt to coat it evenly. Set the glass aside.

  2. 2

    Mix the Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of Pueblo Viejo reposado tequila, 1 oz of fresh lime juice, and 0.5 oz of organic agave syrup. Make sure to measure accurately for the best flavor.

  3. 3

    Add Ice

Fill the shaker with ice cubes, about 1 cup, to chill the mixture as you shake it.

  4. 4

    Shake the Mixture

Secure the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds. This will combine the ingredients and chill the mixture.

  5. 5

    Strain and Pour

Remove the lid from the shaker and strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice if desired. Make sure to strain out any ice from the shaker.

  6. 6

    Top with Orange Liqueur

Gently pour 0.5 oz of orange liqueur over the top of the drink. This will create a beautiful layered effect.

  7. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish your Cadillac Margarita with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately and enjoy!
