Method

Cook Tortellini

  1. 1

    Boil Tortellini

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions, usually about 3-5 minutes, until they float to the top and are tender.

  2. 2

    Drain Tortellini

Once cooked, drain the tortellini in a colander and set aside.

Prepare Alfredo Sauce

  1. 3

    Sauté Garlic

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but not browned.

  2. 4

    Heat Cream

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir continuously for about 2-3 minutes until the cream is heated through.

  3. 5

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add black pepper and nutmeg to taste, stirring until well combined.

Combine and Serve

  1. 6

    Mix Tortellini with Sauce

Add the drained tortellini to the Alfredo sauce, gently tossing until the pasta is well coated.

  2. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
