Cook Tortellini

Boil Tortellini
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook according to package instructions, usually about 3-5 minutes, until they float to the top and are tender.

Drain Tortellini
Once cooked, drain the tortellini in a colander and set aside.
Prepare Alfredo Sauce

Sauté Garlic
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, but not browned.

Heat Cream
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir continuously for about 2-3 minutes until the cream is heated through.

Combine Sauce Ingredients
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Add black pepper and nutmeg to taste, stirring until well combined.
Combine and Serve

Mix Tortellini with Sauce
Add the drained tortellini to the Alfredo sauce, gently tossing until the pasta is well coated.

Serve immediately, garnished with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.
