Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Slice the mushrooms, black olives, and bell pepper. Mince the garlic.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Sear the Steak

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak pieces with salt and black pepper. Sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side until they are browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 3

    Cook the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic, sliced mushrooms, sliced bell pepper, and black olives. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  3. 4

    Add Marinara Sauce

Pour the marinara sauce into the skillet with the vegetables. Stir well and let it simmer for about 5 minutes to combine the flavors.

  4. 5

    Combine Steak and Sauce

Return the seared steak to the skillet, spooning the sauce and vegetables over the top. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the steak is heated through.

  5. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat and garnish with fresh basil leaves. Serve hot with your choice of side.
