Pasta

Method

Pasta

  1. 1

    Cook the Linguini

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the linguini and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Shrimp

  1. 2

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, and black pepper. In another bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the grated Parmesan cheese.

  2. 3

    Dredge the Shrimp

Dip each shrimp in the flour mixture, shaking off the excess, then dip it into the egg mixture, allowing the excess to drip off.

  3. 4

    Cook the Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp in a single layer and sauté for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the shrimp and set aside.

Sauce

  1. 5

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet used for the shrimp, add the butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the chicken broth and lemon juice, bringing it to a simmer.

  2. 6

    Combine and Finish

Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Stir in the chopped parsley and let it all cook together for an additional 1-2 minutes.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Serve

Plate the cooked linguini and top with the shrimp and sauce. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
