Method

Preparation

  1. 1

Wash the broccoli florets under cold running water to remove any dirt or impurities.

  2. 2

Cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces if they are not already prepared.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Olive Oil

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and allow it to heat up for about 1 minute.

  2. 4

    Sauté the Broccoli

Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until they turn bright green and are tender-crisp.

  3. 5

    Add Garlic and Seasonings

In the last minute of cooking, add the minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine and cook until the garlic is fragrant, about 1 minute.

  4. 6

    Finish with Lemon Juice

Remove the skillet from heat and drizzle the lemon juice over the sautéed broccoli. Toss to coat evenly.
