Preparation

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Rinse the fresh raspberries under cold water and set them aside. If you prefer a sweeter tea, measure out honey or sugar.

2

Boil Water

In a medium-sized pot, add 4 cups of water and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat.

3

Steep the Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add the tea bags. Let them steep for about 5 minutes.

4

Add Raspberries

After steeping, add the fresh raspberries to the pot. Allow them to steep with the tea for an additional 5 minutes to infuse their flavor.

5

Sweeten the Tea

If desired, stir in honey or sugar to taste while the tea is still warm.

6

Strain the Tea

Using a fine mesh strainer or a tea strainer, strain the tea into a pitcher, discarding the tea bags and raspberry solids.

7

Serve

Pour the raspberry tea into cups, garnishing each with a slice of lemon if desired. Serve hot or chilled.
