Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the rigatoni pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Salmon

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper. Place them in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky. Remove from skillet and flake into large pieces.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Sauce

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then, add the marinara sauce and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and half of the Parmesan cheese, mixing until well combined.

  4. 4

    Combine Everything

Add the cooked rigatoni and flaked salmon to the skillet with the sauce. Toss gently to coat the pasta and salmon with the sauce. Add more salt and black pepper to taste.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the pasta hot, garnished with the remaining Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil.
