Method

Brewing the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea

Turn off the heat and add 4 black tea bags to the hot water. Allow to steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

  3. 3

    Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, remove the tea bags and discard them.

Sweetening the Tea

  1. 4

    Add Sweetener

If you like sweet tea, add your choice of granulated sugar, honey, or stevia to the hot tea. Stir well until fully dissolved.

Chilling the Tea

  1. 5

    Cool Down

Let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until chilled.

  2. 6

    Serve Over Ice

Fill glasses with ice and pour the chilled tea over the ice.

Garnishing

  1. 7

    Add Garnish

Garnish your iced tea with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves, if desired.
