Method

Preparing the Hashbrown Casserole

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the frozen hash browns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese, chopped green onions, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

  3. 3

    Bake the Casserole

Spread the hashbrown mixture evenly into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown on top.

  4. 4

    Cool and Set Aside

Once baked, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly while you prepare the pizza.

Making the Pizza

  1. 5

    Prepare Pizza Dough

Roll out the pre-made pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape. Transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet.

  2. 6

    Add Hashbrown Casserole

Spread a layer of the baked hashbrown casserole evenly over the pizza dough.

  3. 7

    Cook Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the thick cut bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble into pieces.

  4. 8

    Add Toppings

Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the hashbrown casserole on the pizza. Then, add an additional cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.

  5. 9

    Bake the Pizza

Bake the pizza in the oven at 425°F (220°C) for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. 10

    Serve

Once baked, remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve warm.
