Chicken Wings

Method

Prepare Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Marinate the Wings

In a large bowl, add the chicken wings and season with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well to coat the wings evenly with the spices. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Coat the Wings

In a separate bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and cornstarch. Remove the chicken wings from the refrigerator and toss them in the flour mixture until evenly coated. Shake off any excess flour.

Fry the Wings

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large, deep pot or fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  2. 4

    Fry the Wings

Carefully add the coated chicken wings to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove the wings and drain on paper towels.

Prepare Dipping Sauces and Garlic Toast

  1. 5

    Prepare Dipping Sauces

Set out the blue cheese dressing and house ranch dressing in small bowls for dipping.

  2. 6

    Make Garlic Toast

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the French bread in half lengthwise. In a small bowl, mix the softened unsalted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley together. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

Serve

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Arrange the fried chicken wings on a serving platter alongside the garlic toast and dipping sauces. Enjoy your delicious Drums & Flats!
