Chicken Marinade

Marinate the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk, hot sauce, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.

Prepare the Coating
In a separate bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Set aside.

Fry the Chicken
Heat the cooking oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, coating thoroughly. Carefully place the chicken in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes. Remove and place on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
