Mushroom Preparation

Method

Mushroom Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mushrooms

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Carefully remove the stems from the mushrooms and set them aside.

  2. 2

    Oil the Mushrooms

Drizzle the olive oil over the mushroom caps and rub them to coat evenly. Place the mushrooms, cap side up, on a baking sheet.

Stuffing Mixture

  1. 3

    Make the Stuffing

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated parmesan, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped thyme, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well blended and creamy.

  2. 4

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill each mushroom cap generously with the cheese mixture, pressing down slightly to pack it in.

Baking

  1. 5

    Bake the Stuffed Mushrooms

Bake the stuffed mushrooms in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the tops are golden brown.

  2. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious stuffed mushrooms!
