Method

Preparing the Salmon

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade. Place the salmon fillets in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F or 190°C to 200°C). This will ensure a nice sear on the salmon.

  3. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Once the grill is hot, place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes on the first side. Carefully flip the fillets and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Preparing the Vegetables

  1. 4

    Prepare the Vegetables

While the salmon is marinating, wash and slice the zucchini and bell pepper into strips. Trim the tough ends off the asparagus.

  2. 5

    Season the Vegetables

In a large bowl, toss the zucchini, bell pepper, and asparagus with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  3. 6

    Grill the Vegetables

When the salmon is nearly done, place the vegetables on the grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and slightly charred.
