Prepare the Glass
Select a rocks glass and fill it with ice to chill while you prepare the cocktail.

Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of bourbon, 0.5 oz of Jelinek fernet, and 1 oz of maple chai syrup.

Shake It Up
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
Serving

Strain and Serve
Remove the ice from the rocks glass and strain the mixed cocktail into the glass over fresh ice.

Add a cinnamon stick and a twist of orange peel to the drink for garnish.
